My friend told me not to stay here... what the heck? but I'm here!!

I had a good stay overall at Woodpecker Lodge. The location was in a strategic place whereby easy to access to restaurants where you can try any type of food at different prices, shopping malls, bank with ATM and CDM, tourist attraction places & most important was next to Sarawak river where can have a evening walk or have a board ride.

To my amaze, the room was clean even though small with basic amenities, but it's only for sleeping in so that's not an issue really. Most importantly it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked a treat! The associates were friendly & helpful at all time. It is an absolutely backpacker-friendly place, and a great place to stay in Kuching for such an excellent price. Quite place during the night.
